With Spring fast approaching, we’re all looking forward to spending some time outside in our gardens.
Tackle these garden maintenance jobs now to keep your outside space looking great.
Smarten up plants and hedges by pruning and cutting them back. Early Spring is a good time to prune many plants and trees, before new growth begins.
Smarten your garden up with a Ryobi One+ hedge trimmer, pruning saw or loppers for tree branches (Ryobi has a selection of tools available depending on your requirements).
Get your patio or any paved areas ready for the warm weather by removing any dirt and debris that’s accumulated over the colder months. Start by removing any leaves, dead plants or rubbish so that the surface is clear. You could use a broom, or a cordless debris sweeper or even leaf blower like the ones available from Ryobi One+.
Once your patio is clear, you can remove dirt and grime with a cordless pressure washer, or Ryobi also offer specialist cordless patio cleaners (models available with a wire brush or scrubbing brush).
With the cleaning over, you can get the garden furniture out and enjoy your outside space!
Spring is a great time to plant new seeds. If you want to spread seed in a concentrated area (like grass seed, if your lawn is looking a little sad), the Ryobi One+ 18V cordless seed spreader could speed things up.
It can hold up to 4 litres of dry material, including seeds, feed and fertiliser, making spreading quick and easy. It can even be used to spread salt in frosty and snowy conditions too.
Pests and larvae are likely to have been hibernating in your garden over the winter, so act now to stop infestations and halt the spread of weeds.
The 18V cordless fogger from Ryobi One+ is ideal for spreading insecticides, herbicides and fungicides efficiently, or Ryobi also offer a handheld weed sprayer and a backpack sprayer to halt weeds in their tracks.
The Ryobi One+ range offers a variety of tools that cover the jobs mentioned above, which all run off of the same 18V battery system.
If you’d like to explore the Ryobi One+ range, but don’t want to invest in a new battery, Badaptor could help.
Badaptor is a battery adaptor that allows users to convert their existing DeWalt 18-20V, Makita, Milwaukee or Bosch Professional 18V battery for use with the entire Ryobi One+ 18V range of tools.
